Obituary For Carole J. Monahan

Carole J. MonahanOctober 18, 1947 – September 23, 2022Carole J. Monahan, 74, Altoona, went to be with the Lord on Friday.Carole was born in Trenton, NJ, daughter of the late Albert and Madeline (Summers) Pidcock. She married Frederick Monahan who survives.Surviving are her loving husband and a son, Gavin J. Hoban and wife Brandie of Indiana, PA.She was preceded in death by two brothers: Don and Rod Pidcock.Carole was a 1969 graduate of Penn State University and retired as Postmistress from George School.She was a member of Altoona Bible Church and enjoyed sewing, traveling and music, especially playing the piano.A funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.Arrangements are by E.     Tame Your Mane

    We had the pleasure of meeting Carole many years ago. We have all developed a special friendship with her throughout the years. She was a very caring person and always took care of everyone in the salon with her special gifts. She will certainly be missed by everyone of us at Tame Your Mane.
