Colleen C. Ritter
July 16, 1949 – October 23, 2021

Colleen C. Ritter, 72, Altoona, passed away Saturday at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Charles Brenner and Marjorie (Riley) Brenner, who survives.
Surviving are three daughters: Rene Weamer, Jessica Pheasant (Jay) and Wendy Black (Ron) all of Altoona; a brother, Charles Brenner, Jr. (Mary) of Batavia, NY; a sister, Theresa Barone (Dan) of Pennfield, NY; a cousin, Bill Becker; and close friend, Tom Gural.
She was preceded in death by Ronald Weamer.
Colleen was a 1969 graduate of Altoona Area High School and retired from Blair County 911 as a tele-communicator. She was a member of the Swiss Club and Newburg Fire Hall and enjoyed flower gardening and going to Rehoboth Beach.
A celebration of Colleen’s life will be held from 12 p.m. -4 p.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Swiss Club (outdoors), 1219 Harrison Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to: Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at ipffoundation.org/donate.
