Doris Jean Mitchell

Doris Jean Mitchell, 82, of Altoona, peacefully passed away Friday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
She married Robert “Mitch” Mitchell on September 14, 1985, he preceded her in death.
Doris is survived by her son Richard Myers (Katie) of Elizabethton, TN, and her daughter Deborah Styer of Inwood, WV; six grandchildren: Jessica Custer(Mike), Austin Styer (Will), Richard Myers II (Nadia), Barbara Fonash (Andrew), Natalie Kokoskie and Adam Kokoskie. She is also survived by her brother, James Swander (Nancy) and 3 great grandchildren: Jackson Custer, Caroline Custer and Alexander Fonash.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Kokoskie(Tony).
Doris retired as the Tourism Program Manager for Southern Alleghenies.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
A memorial service will be done at a later time with family.
