Doris L. Meyers

January 11, 1930 – February 6, 2024

Doris L. Meyers, 94, Altoona, passed away Tuesday at her residence.

Doris was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William and Bertha M. (Schaffer) Meyers.

She is survived by a niece, Beverly K. Campbell and husband Gary, with whom she resided; a nephew, Craig Meyers and wife Patty; great-nieces: Tammy Izzett (Don) of Bellwood and Michele Ketrow (Gene Brantner); great-great-nieces and great-great nephews: Bryant, Kaylee and Zackary Miller, and Skyler and Abby Ketrow.

She was preceded in death by brothers: Clyde “Pete” Meyers, twin brother, Donald Meyers, William Meyers and James Meyers; and two sisters: Dorothy Liebegott and Alma Mae Farber.

Doris was a graduate of Altoona High School and retired from Sylvania after 40 years of service.

She was a member of Altoona Bible Church and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her pet dogs.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be at Alto Reste Park.
