Obituary For Falon Marie Morris

Falon Marie Morris

December 23, 1995 – December 16, 2020

Falon Marie Morris, 24, of Hollidaysburg sadly passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in a winter snowstorm automobile accident driving home from New York. Falon was born in Altoona, PA, the daughter of Gregory S. and Shannon (Dalby) Morris.

Falon is a graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and was confirmed at Temple Beth Israel in Altoona, PA. Falon attended Pennsylvania State University where she majored in English and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in May 2019. Falon enjoyed studying literature and writing short stories as well as taking Women’s Studies classes. While at College, one of Falon’s greatest joys was being a member of the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority. Two weeks after graduation, Falon moved to Manhattan, NYC in June 2019 and worked for Bloomingdales. Falon fell in love with New York City and spent much of her time exploring the vibrant music scene and enjoying the many diverse and cultural activities that the city has to offer.

Falon was a Ray of Sunshine. She loved to read, write, travel and, above all, spend time with her family and friends as well as her cat Kitty Minks that she took in during college. She was sweet, funny, and kindhearted, a true and enlightened soul. Her smile could light up a room and her laugh was infectious. She was always so positive and happy. You could not help but want to know her and be near her. Falon had many diverse talents from her outstanding athleticism to her incredible sense of humor to her beautiful artwork and her love for singing, dance, and fashion. Falon had a way of making each of her family members and friends feel special. She was a wonderful, supportive, and devoted daughter, sister, friend, granddaughter and cousin. She was an incredibly beautiful person inside and out with great insight, sensitivity, and intellect. Falon adored her three younger siblings who loved her so very much.

Falon is so loved. Falon will be forever missed by her loving Parents, Sisters Sophira Morris, Grier Morris, and her Brother Greyson Morris and her Grandparents Mary and Tom Dalby, Toby and Sloan Dalby, and many other close Cousins and Aunts and Uncles Thad and Aimee Dalby, Scott and Shelly Dalby, Chris and Lynn Dalby, Clint Dalby, Diana Morris and Peter Shiras, Lori Morris and Larry McGill, and Bradford Morris. She is preceded in death by her Grandmother Charlotte B. Morris and Grandfather Arther L. Morris and her Aunt Courtney M. Dalby.

There will be a Zoom Memorial Service and Celebration of Falon Marie Morris’s Beautiful Life on December 23rd, 2020 at 7pm.
