Jerry W. Leighty September 1, 1958 – October 12, 2021 Jerry W. Leighty, 63, Altoona, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona. Jerry was born in Altoona, son of the late Charles W. “Bud” and Mary Lou (Gates) Leighty. He is survived by two daughters: Nicole Leighty and Jennifer Brumbaugh; two sons: Charles Dively and Matthew Brown; two grandchildren: Jason and Ivy; a great-grandchild, Lyra and a sister, Ellen Breitenbach. Jerry was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Leighty. Jerry was a 1976 graduate of Altoona Area High School and was a US Air Force veteran. He was a member of the Blair County Game, Fish and Forestry Association. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and ATVs, shooting pool and was an avid trap and pistol shooter.
