Louise F. Edgar Jan. 20, 1967-April 26, 2021

Louise F. Edgar, 54, of Altoona passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness. She was born in New Haven, Connecticut, the daughter of the late Frank A. Pinto and Louise (Jones) Beard. Louise married Curtis J. Edgar on Aug. 20, 2016. Louise is survived by her husband, Curt of Altoona; daughters: Shirley Martel and Allie Laursen both of Maine; a sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Wayne Ciullo of Maine; two nephews and three nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Spencer. Louise was a graduate of Sharon High School in Sharon, Massachusetts. Her sister, Elizabeth said, “I am so glad Curt came into her life. I think with his help and love, she was the happiest and best person she could be.” At the request of the family there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements are provided by the E.
