William J. “Bill” Foust III, 53, passed away Thursday at UPMC Altoona after an extended illness.

Bill was born in Altoona, son of the late William J. and Evelyn (Miller) Foust, Jr. He married Candida “Candi” Manna on August 31, 2002.

Surviving are his loving wife of 22 years, his children: Bradley Foust (Casidy) of Altoona, Ashten Foust, Colvin Foust, Kyler Foust, and Briella Foust all at home; two grandchildren: Ayvin and Isleigh; two sons: Nick and A.J. Perry; a sister, Pam Lucas (Dave) of Altoona; mother-in-law, Kathleen Moyer; and several nieces and nephews.

Bill was a 1988 graduate of Altoona Area High School.

He retired from IDA as a maintenance manager and had previously been a custodian at Hollidaysburg Area School District and was previously employed by Ramada Inn.

Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and fireworks, but most especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2025 at E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 2309 Broad Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601 where a visitation will immediately follow from 3-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
